Texasboy reportedly catches 67-pound catfish, state record pending

A Texas boymay have secured a junior state record after reportedly catching aroughly 67-pound catfish overthe weekend.

13-year-oldBrenden Rogers snagged the massive fish while out on Lake Tawakoni with a localguide service.  

The Texas Parks & Wildlifeconfirmed on Twitter thata junior record was pending, adding that the fish was brought to the state’sFreshwater Fisheries Center and will remain on display.
